As a board-certified psychiatrist with nearly two decades of experience, I’ve worked with children, adolescents, and adults in both outpatient and acute care settings. I treat a wide range of conditions, including:
- Mood and anxiety disorders
- ADHD
- OCD
- Trauma-related concerns
- Autism spectrum and developmental disorders,
- And more
In my psychiatric services, I draw on psychodynamic principles. That means I don’t just look at symptoms—I take the time to understand your unique psychological makeup, your past and current relationships, and your family dynamics. This context helps guide both psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy in a way that’s deeply personal and effective.
I also believe there is a deep connection between physical and mental health. Restorative sleep, a nutrient-dense diet, and regular physical movement can significantly improve the effects of therapy and medication.
I also believe in practicing what I preach, and maintain my own routines in yoga, functional movement, and most recently, the fascinating and challenging art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
